Borderline Arts is the only Charity in the UK that focuses specifically on Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD). They use arts & creativity to raise awareness of this often misunderstood mental health condition & to tackle the stigma that surrounds it.

Sarah is the founder of Borderline Arts UK. Sarah is a 38 year old from Derby, England with a diagnosis of Borderline Personality Disorder. Having experienced so much stigma due to having the condition and also experiencing a real struggle to get help specifically for BPD, she had a real passion to try to increase understanding and decrease stigma related to this illness. Being a very creative and playful person, she often did this using the arts and this is how she came to be the founder and coordinator of Borderline Arts, which is the only charity in the UK that specifically focuses on BPD.
